High Salaries and High Success Define LSU CES Class of 2025

March 25, 2026

The LSU Olinde Career Center has released the outcomes data for the undergraduate Class of 2025, and the results for Coastal Environmental are impressive.

Among these graduates, those from the Coastal Environmental Science (CES) program achieved a 92% positive outcome rate, marking a significant increase of 10 percentage points compared to the previous year.

A positive outcome indicates that a graduate has secured an opportunity—such as employment, admission to graduate school, or another post-graduation pursuit—within six months after finishing their degree and is not actively seeking their next step.

In addition to strong outcome rates, CES graduates reported an average salary of $75,995. This figure reflects an increase of over $5,000 from the prior year and exceeds the national average by nearly $13,000, or 20%.

Furthermore, the data show that the majority of CES graduates (56%) entered the workforce directly, while 30% chose to continue their education. Additionally, 70% reported Louisiana as their post-graduation destination. These results highlight both the employability and the academic ambition of LSU’s Coastal Environmental Science alumni.
