Coastal Environmental Science Is Our Passion.

Undergraduate Degree

Welcome from the faculty and staff of the College of the Coast & Environment! Our undergraduate program is designed to be flexible, interdisciplinary, and collaborative in order to meet the needs of our students. We offer exciting courses in environmental, marine, wetland, toxicology and related sciences as well as opportunities for field trips and studying abroad. In addition, our program has the advantage of small classes with a ratio of four students per every one faculty member (one of the smallest student-faculty ratios at LSU!).

One of the most valuable facets of our program is our undergraduate student research. Undergraduates may assist in on-going research projects conducted by faculty or graduate students. These often include a wide range of lab, field, and computer-related activities. For more information on research opportunities, contact an advisor
