Congratulations to CC&E's Spring Class of 2022!

April 28, 2022

On May 20, the LSU College of the Coast & Environment awarded degrees to 27 graduates of the spring class of 2022.

This group has work side by side with faculty and staff researchers in the classroom, lab, field, and archives, to address complicated and important problems that help citizens in our state and beyond. They have helped determine how winds and wetland vegetation influence the movement of water before, during, and after storms; assessed how to improve deficiencies in Louisiana’s approach to floodplain management and community planning; competed for esteemed Knauss Fellowships; presented their world-class research at prestigious conferences; and won several awards along the way.

Their time in our college has inspired innovative thinking, enabled new discoveries, and encouraged them to communicate their passion for their science to the world. They have demonstrated persistence, hard work, and commitment on their journey to earning their degrees and are well prepared for a bright future.

Congratulations to the following graduates!
