Plan a Visit

The best way to learn about the LSU College of Engineering is to see it firsthand!

The College of Engineering is excited to welcome prospective high school students and their families to learn more by scheduling a visit. Although we are unable to coordinate full tours of our engineering facilities during the $110 million renovation/expansion of Patrick F. Taylor Hall, we are happy to welcome you to the college and provide you with information about everything we have to offer.

We are currently offering visits at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. During your visit, you can expect to interact with current engineering students and receive plenty of information about our degree programs and facilities. Most visits will last between 45 minutes to an hour.

We are unable to accommodate tours for the following dates:

February 24 – Kickoff LSU*
February 27
March 3 – Kickoff LSU*
April 14 – Good Friday (University closed)
April 21 – Kickoff LSU*

Kickoff LSU is a day-long open house for high school seniors and juniors, as well as their parents or guardians. Registration is required to attend, and space is limited for each date. For more information and to register, please visit www.lsu.edu/kickofflsu.

Our visits are conveniently scheduled around the timing of other visit activities on campus to help you maximize your visit to LSU! As you are planning your visit, please also consider the following LSU visit opportunities:

LSU Campus Tours – Register for a 10:00 am or 1:00 pm daily LSU campus tour.

Residence Hall Tours – Offered at 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm daily. These tours begin at Grace King Hall – no appointment necessary. We strongly encourage checking out the Engineering Residential College during your visit!

Honors College Visits – Register for a 2:30 pm visit on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Note: Please acquaint yourself with the Honors College Admissions requirements before requesting a visit.
