The Engineering Residential College (ERC) - North Hall, which opened in Fall 2012, is one of the newest learning communities helping to develop the next generation of engineers, construction managers and computer scientists who will face the technical challenges of a global economy.
The ERC offers academic enhancement programs, including weekly supplemental instruction in math, physics, and chemistry. Additionally, the ERC helps advance students' professional development by quickly acquainting them with the College of Engineering’s corporate partners. Corporate sponsored events expose students to internships, Co-Ops, and engineering, construction management, and computer science careers.

With over 16 student organizations in the college alone, you can be sure that you will always find your niche! Engineers Without Borders is one of our most active student volunteer organizations reaching underdeveloped communities around the world. You can also get involved in diversity centered students organizations like the National Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, or the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. The college also has professional development and industry groups, as well as the college-wide Engineering Council with officers elected by the student body.
