Contacted by LSU PPRL?

Were you contacted by the LSU PPRL?

If you were contacted by the Louisiana State University Public Policy Research Lab, it means you were randomly selected for one of the research studies the Lab is conducting. We would be grateful for your participation. For over twenty years, PPRL has led high-quality research for Louisiana State University, state and local governmental agencies, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. PPRL collects data for various studies that affect policy decisions at all levels.

Concerned about privacy and confidentiality?

At LSU PPRL, we take privacy and confidentiality very seriously. Our team takes numerous measures to ensure that no one outside of the project staff has access to collected data. We do not release data that can identify individual respondents.

How did we get your number?

PPRL employs a variety of methods to select people and they may be different, based on the needs of a particular study.  For telephone surveys, an area code is used to determine a geographic location and a computer application randomly selects a phone number from a pool of numbers.
