Biography

In her role, Arlette conducts Civil Rights and Title IX investigations as well as investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation involving students, faculty, and staff.

Arlette has training in best practices in conducting workplace investigations and knowledge of trauma-informed practices. She also has training in SHRM Employment Law & Compliance. She has conducted in-person and virtual training for LSU students, faculty, and staff on Title IX mandatory reporting. Arlette has served as an advisor in many Title IX hearings. She also served on the LSU Title IX Steering Committee. Throughout her career, her work as an investigator included developing and implementing internal processes, templates, and communications, and conducting hundreds of inquiries and investigations with complainants, respondents, and witnesses.

Her goals are to treat every individual going through the process with dignity and respect..
