Biography

Sharalle Arnold, a first-generation college student, received her B.A. from California State University, Chico in Liberal Studies and her M.Ed. from Washington State University.  She is a California native, with an extensive stay in Michigan working in higher ed, relocating to Louisiana just under a year ago. 

Sharalle has nearly twenty years of student affairs experience, most recently serving at the LSU Olinde Career Center as the Manager for Career Preparation.   

Points of pride for Mrs. Arnold during her tenure include supporting the establishment of the University‚Äôs inaugural initiative supporting students who identify as college-going student parents and students who have experienced foster care yielding a $500k grant from DHHS for the university, being selected to present at the Nat Conf on Race and Ethnicity (NCORE), serving as the keynote address for Black Graduation and directing the GVSU Children's Enrichment Center to national accreditation with the Nat Assoc for the Educ of Young Children (NEAYC). 

Sharalle is a wife, mom, published author, business owner and community supporter.  Her personal ethos is anchored in giving back‚Ķsupporting the chronically muted and underserved is a personal responsibility.
