Louisiana State University has been identified as one of the best value colleges for an accelerated online Master of Social Work degree according to CollegeValesOnline.com. The ranking considered the program being able to be completed at a faster than average pace and cost of the program.

At LSU's School of Social Work, full-time advanced-standing students can complete this CSWE-accredited online master’s in social work degree in one year. Foundation students can complete the program in two years. Students will take courses like diversity and oppression, differential diagnosis, advanced direct practice, community and agency contexts in direct practice, and social work ethics.
