Global Ambassadors Program

The Global Ambassadors Program is a university-wide initiative that seeks to invest global competency skills in the next generation of leaders. Each year, a total of 10 outstanding Juniors from LSU’s Academic colleges are selected to participate in an interdisciplinary global learning program in Ghana during spring break. This program exemplifies the university’s desire to graduate globally-minded students.

Selected participants will be immersed in an international experience that specifically addresses global challenges. During this program, participants will build upon their own understanding of the world and the critical role they can play in addressing some of today's most pressing global needs. Upon returning to LSU, these students will serve as Global Ambassadors, advocating for their peers to consider engaging in international and experiential learning programs.
