RE: 2024 LSU External Award Recipients
Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to share a list of LSU faculty who received external awards in 2024. These honors reflect the outstanding scholarship, research, and creative work being conducted across our university and help to strengthen LSU’s growing national reputation.
These awards also serve a broader institutional purpose. Highly prestigious and prestigious pathway awards are key indicators used in evaluating institutions for membership in the Association of American Universities (AAU). As such, they directly support our strategic objective of positioning LSU among the nation’s top 50 public research universities.
In recognition of their extraordinary accomplishments, the 2024 highly prestigious and prestigious pathway recipients will receive a stipend. We encourage all faculty to participate in the pursuit of national awards. Please visit the External Awards & Recognition website to let us know if you have received an award so that we can recognize your accomplishments.
Please join me in congratulating last year’s recipients, listed below. Thank you for your continued commitment to excellence.
Sincerely,
Roy Haggerty
