Students in grades 7 and 8 are invited to apply for Geaux Science for Girls: Our Earth, Our Laboratory, a day of fun earth and energy science activities led by some of LSU’s top women scientists.

Learn how to measure and record earthquakes from around the world, lunch and chat with LSU women scientists, and enjoy fun hands-on activities hosted by a variety of science programs at LSU.
 
Who’s eligible to participate?

Students in 7th and 8th grade with an interest in science.
 
How do I apply?

Complete the Geaux Science for Girls: Our Earth, Our Laboratory application form.

The application requires a one-page essay, a participant authorization form and a photography and social media release form that must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
