Alumni Dr. Aijah Goodwin receives award from the APA!

Aijah K. B. Goodwin, Ph.D., first year Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Center for School Mental Health (NCSMH) and recent alumnus of Dr. Anna Long's Cultural Responsiveness and Implementation Science in Psychology (CRISP) Lab receives the 2022 American Psychological Association Division 16 – School Psychology – Outstanding Dissertation Award. Her dissertation, entitled The Role of School Sociocultural Factors on the Academic Competence and Mental Health of Elementary-Aged Children, examines the direct and protective impact of culturally responsive practices in schools in relation to discrimination, ethnic match, and school well-being for elementary students from caregivers' perspectives.
