I do this work because I believe that fraternity and sorority membership has the opportunity to not only impact a student’s collegiate experience, but continues to provide lifelong personal and professional development and belonging.

This job provides such a unique opportunity to engage with individuals at different spaces in their experience. Whether that is a student looking to find their place on their campus or the student leader who has a vision for developing their community.

I wake up excited to engage with and support students as they develop both personally and professionally within their leadership role and seek to promote positive change within their community.

Favorite Chapter memory

My favorite chapter memory was in 2016 when the Chicago Cubs were playing in the World Series. I was born and raised a die-hard Cubs fan and my chapter had quite a few members who were from the Chicago area. For Game 7, myself and about 20 other Chicago Cubs fans piled into our tv room to watch. After rain delays and extra innings, we got the final out that won us the World Series and we all screamed and ran around the house calling our families and grandparents who had waited their lifetime for this moment. It was a simple moment but looking around that room made me realize the home and relationships that I had created within my sisterhood.

Snack attack

My favorite food as a kid was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with Doritos inside the sandwich. Weird, but delicious!

Alternate career

If I didn’t have this job, I would be working in politics and aspiring to be the next Olivia Pope!
