5 Things to Know about Completing Registration

11/21/16

Completing registration requires paying and submitting your fee bill in order to enroll at LSU for an upcoming semester.

Before Fee Bills are Available

Accept or Decline all Aid

Before fee bills are available, be sure you've accepted all desired financial aid awards or scholarships on your myLSU account. If you'd like to receive an award you've been offered, you'll need to accept the award or it will not credit to your fee bill.

Accept or Decline Awardsmy.lsu.edu > Financial Services > Financial Aid > Financial Aid & Scholarships

Enroll in Necessary Credit Hours

Many financial aid awards and most scholarships require you to be enrolled full-time to receive those awards. If you are waitlisted for classes, waitlisted credit hours don't count toward your scheduled credit hours. If your scheduled number of credit hours is less than full time, your desired financial aid or scholarships may not credit to your fee bill.

After Fee Bills are Available

Complete Registration: my.lsu.edu > Registration Services > Fee Bill

No Balance Owed

If your balance is $0, you must complete registration by clicking the “Complete Registration” button.

Balance Owed

If a balance is owed, complete registration by clicking the "Pay by bank draft" or "Pay by credit card" button.

Deferred Payment

If you cannot pay your entire balance at once, deferred payment is an option for you. Deferred payment requires you to pay half of your balance by the fee bill due date. The remaining half of your balance is divided into three equal payments and is due monthly throughout the rest of the semester. There is a $15 service fee for deferred payment. This service fee is waived for TOPS students for the Spring 2017 semester.
