Now in its fourth year supporting the Geaux Communicate initiative, LSU’s Communication-Intensive (C-I) Faculty Fellows program is pleased to announce the 2026–27 cohort. These four faculty members have demonstrated a significant commitment to advancing C-I teaching and learning in their own courses and across their departments and colleges.

Working with Dr. Jennifer Baumgartner, CxC faculty chair, the Fellows will create and share teaching resources with colleagues across campus. Past Fellows’ projects have included peer-review tools, self-reflection assignments, resources for visual and spoken communication, and AI-related teaching guidance.

The 2026–27 C-I Faculty Fellows are:

  • Dr. Amy Luther, Department of Geology & Geophysics, College of Science
  • Dr. Johnna Roose, Department of Biological Sciences, College of Science
  • Nolde Alexius, Department of English, College of Humanities & Social Sciences
  • Roxanne Dill, Department of Journalism, Manship School of Mass Communication

Join us in congratulating these four outstanding faculty members and their ongoing commitment to teaching and learning at LSU.
