Workday at LSU
Workday is LSU’s administrative system for financial, payroll and human resources processes. From this site you will find a variety of resources and frequent updates.
If you are new to Workday, an overview video is available at uiswcmsweb.prod.lsu.edu/training/employee/. This overview introduces a user to Workday’s way of handling a few basic activities, including time entry. A wealth of other training videos and job aids are also available on this site as well.
If you have any questions, please visit the Workday knowledgebase at lsu.edu/servicenow.
On December 12, 2017, the IT Governance Council agreed unanimously to recommend that LSU move forward with the modernization of its student information systems and, in particular, implement Workday Student. Our Executive Vice President & Provost, Rick Koubek, and our Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration & CFO, Dan Layzell, subsequently approved the IT Governance Council’s recommendation for a “Go” to implement Workday Student.
The deployment of Workday Student will begin immediately and is expected to take 30 months. The new solution is scheduled to be in place by July 2020.
