Can you code it?

GeauxCode events continuing in spring 2022
LSU College of Science codeFest and makerSpace

Sponsored by the LSU College of Science and the Department of Biological Sciences, GeauxCode monthly events build interdisciplinary connections between students from across campus, foster creativity and teamwork, and give participants hands-on experience with the foundations of data science and computing.

No previous experience with computing, coding, or data science is necessary! Come join us to get started.

The first event, a makerSpace, will take place on Wednesday, February 9th, at 5 p.m. in the Life Science Annex atrium. makerSpaces involve hands-on building, coding, and tinkering with tiny computers and other electronics to make your own sensors, light displays, electronic art, and more!
