04/06/2021
BATON ROUGE - On Saturday, April 10, 2021, Dance Marathon at LSU will have its eighth annual Big Event at the South Stadium Club in Tiger Stadium. Participants will have the option to attend the 12-hour event in person or virtually to celebrate a challenging year of fundraising for the kids of Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.

The student leadership team worked all year to plan the Big Event in accordance with the updated CDC COVID-19 guidelines, so participants can get the most out of their experience. Supporters are encouraged to experience the action from home by joining the 12-hour Virtual Event at dmatlsu.org to learn the morale dance, hear miracle stories from local families, and support the cause.

All $1.4 million that Dance Marathon at LSU has raised in the past seven years has stayed local to provide care and comfort services for Louisiana families. The total fundraising reveal for this record year will happen at exactly 9 p.m. To donate during the event, text “BRKIDS” to 51555 until 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021 and help provide lifesaving care to children in need.
