Through the group, members have the opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater and network with fellow alumni while working to better support young and future alumni to build increased and enhanced connection to each other and to the university. The council’s overall goal is to generate ideas and initiatives that enable the association serve and provide value to this demographic.

The council meets throughout the year via conference call and at one in-person meeting on campus. The 2020 in-person meeting is tentatively planned for Sept. 26, at which time the council will host a public event for young alumni before the LSU vs. Ole Miss game.
