Dr. LeBlanc earned degrees in both anthropology and linguistics. Her research interests focus on communities of practice online, specifically discourse community building. She is currently working on a unifying theory of pragmatic competence-learning in the virtual medium. Dr. LeBlanc has been teaching a variety of courses since 2005, but her most favorite include working with undergraduate and graduate international students.
