June Pulliam teaches courses in horror film and fiction, young adult fiction, and gender and popular culture, composition, legal writing, and technical writing, and is a member of the Womens and Gender Studies and Screen Arts programs at LSU. She has written and edited many about the horror genre including The Encyclopedia of the Zombie, Ghosts in Legend and Popular Culture, Richard Matheson’s Monsters: Gender in the Stories, Scripts, Novels, and Twilight Zone Episodes and Monstrous Bodies: Feminine Power in Young Adult Horror Fiction, as well as written a the reference guide Listen to Punk Rock! Pulliam is also a technical writing consultant and, a painter, and an incorrigible animal rescuer.
