NSSLHA

LSU has two chapters of NSSLHA (National Student Speech-Language and Hearing Association), graduate and undergraduate, is an organization composed of students interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders. Its purpose is to encourage professional interest among students in the study of normal and disordered human communication, to assist university departments and local organizations interested in speech – hearing – language behaviors and disorders, to provide professional information about graduate schools, doctoral programs, and career plans, to provide a vehicle for student representation in matters of professional concern, and to develop leadership skills for students.
