Louisiana Land-Grant Ag Career Prep Week
November 1–5, 2021
Hosted in partnership with the LSU College of Agriculture and Southern University College of Agricultural, Family and Consumer Sciences, Career Prep Week provides students from both of Louisiana's Land-Grant Institutions with an opportunity to build on their professional development skills and network with potential employers. First-year students through seniors are encouraged to participate in these events.
Students, alumni, employers, and faculty interested in participating in any of the events throughout the week should register by Thursday, October 28, 2021.

3:00–5:00 p.m., hosted in the Human Ecology Building Lobby
Students in the College of Agriculture are invited to shop FREE, gently used professional clothing items in our first-ever Career Closet Pop-Up Shop!

Virtual Speed Networking
5:30–7:00 p.m. (Central Time), hosted via Zoom
Students from LSU and Southern University are invited to this virtual speed networking social to connect with employers and industry representatives. This is a great opportunity to preview companies that will be participating in the Ag Career Fair, as well as a way to polish your elevator pitch, practice networking, and gain career advice from industry representatives.

Virtual Résumé Drop-Off
Busy schedule? No problem! You can submit your résumé and/or cover letter anytime throughout the year to our virtual résumé drop-off. After submitting a member of the LSU College of Agriculture career services team will review and provide edits and suggestions via email. Expected turnaround time is 3–5 business days, and may be longer during Ag Career Prep Week (Nov. 1–5, 2021).
Virtual Résumé Review Appointments
LSU Student can schedule a one-on-one résumé or career appointment through the LSU Navigate app. From the appointment menu, select Academic Advising > College of Agriculture > Internship / Career.

Etiquette Dinner

Held the evening before the Ag Career Fair, this is an opportunity to network with employers while enjoying a gourmet meal and a guided dining etiquette lesson. The event is free to attend for students, but space is limited!

night before the Ag Career Fair, this is a networking event for students to meet potential
