Sequoyah Research Center: An outstanding research facility on Native Americans

The Sequoyah Research Center is a unique facility dedicated to the collection and preservation of the printed words of Native American individuals, nations and organizations.

In addition to being an outstanding research facility, the center is extensively engaged in education on a number of levels. Since its founding in 1983, the mission of the American Native Press Archives (ANPA) has been to collect and archive the products of the Native press and other materials related to press history.

ANPA's holdings are extensive in Native press history resources, Native American literature resources, manuscripts and special collections and web resources.
