Applying for the LS-LAMP Scholarship

         INSTRUCTIONS:

1.        Complete the below application form.

2.        Submit the following documents with your application.

a.        An essay (typed, double-spaced with 1-inch margins on 8.5 by 11-inch paper and no more than 2 pages long) describing a) your career goal(s), b) your reasons for choosing the career goal(s), c) what you have done so far to prepare yourself for your career, d) why you are interested in this program.

b.       One letter of recommendation

c.        One-page resume.

d.       High school transcript for freshman and transfer students with less than 30 hours

e.        College transcript

You may only apply for one semester at a time since a current application must be completed each semester.  You must be A US citizen or permanent resident, enrolled as a full-time, and have a STEM major.  Accepted students will qualify for a stipend (for one semester) and be required to attend all LAMP sponsored events. 

If you are not a U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident, you do not qualify for a stipend. However, you may participate in LAMP activities, including the free tutoring, mentoring program, workshops, etc.
