Video: The LSU Ring Cherished as a Tiger Tradition Rich in Symbolism

November 01, 2023

The LSU Ring is a symbol of the LSU experience and a permanent connection to past, present, and future LSU students. Long considered a Tiger tradition and academic milestone for juniors, the LSU Ring is reserved for alumni, currently enrolled undergraduates who have completed 75 credit hours, and currently enrolled graduate students who have completed 18 credit hours

An LSU Ring Ceremony occurs each fall and spring, but not before each student has the privilege of having their LSU Ring watched over by Mike the Tiger in his habitat overnight.
