Godoy wins best student poster presentation at the Organization of Nematologists of Tropical America (ONTA) meeting

 
Felipe GodoyFelipe Godoy won first place at the ONTA Student Poster Session Competition at the annual meeting held in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, July 10-14, 2017. His poster presentation was entitled “Host status of selected rice cultivars to Aphelenchoides besseyi in Louisiana”. Felipe will soon finish his master’s degree in the Department of Plant Pathology & Crop Physiology under the guidance of Drs. Charles Overstreet, Edward C. McGawley, and Clayton Hollier. Felipe is from Brazil and came to LSU after completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from Federal University of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais.
