Host a Visitor or Delegation
The Global Engagement team is here to assist LSU colleges and departments who are interested in hosting a guest from a university, organization, or institution abroad. LSU policy currently requires that our office be alerted of plans to welcome international visitors or delegations so that we can help you with arrangements and with designing an optimal experience for your guest.

Delegations
Official representative(s) from an international university, institution, or government body, visiting for the purpose of considering, establishing, or honoring a partnership between LSU and their organization.
Visitors
Guests from universities or organizations abroad who are not official representatives. Visitors represent only themselves and are usually on campus to research or collaborate for 28 days or longer.
Short-Term Visitors
Guests from universities or organizations abroad who are not official representatives. Short-term visitors represent only themselves and are usually on campus to research or collaborate for less than 28 days.
