Job Description

Do you enjoy the challenge of treating sick & injured patients, and the reward of helping them and their families? Like to work as part of a positive team? Want to put your new knowledge to the test, with an experienced practitioner as a mentor/fallback? We have a relatively new Emergency Practice in Frisco (an affluent area in Greater Dallas) that has grown tremendously since we opened almost three years ago, and we now operate 24/7. We are committed to high-tech solutions (for our clients, and our staff), we cultivate a positive staff culture, and practice the highest standard of medicine we can -  this is why we enjoy our jobs! We are seeking 4 full-time veterinarians to round out our professional staff. We were all new grads at one point, and have a vested interest in your success as a clinician and don't mind questions, teaching, or learning the latest techniques & medications.

You will need a good attitude, desire to work as part of a team (our doctors learned a long time ago to listen to the experienced ER nurses), and serious compassion for our clients and patients. Using available technology to deliver better patient care is important to us (our resources include digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house blood analyzers, a brand-new state-of-the-art endoscope, cloud-based EMR and electronic patient charting).

Our employees (staff and veterinarians alike) are an investment, not an expense and we recognize that our success depends on highly skilled team members that are devoted to our patients and their owners. We genuinely value every member of our team and we are committed to investing in their future. Therefore, we offer a generous compensation package including competitive salary, insurance (health, vision, dental), 401(k), licenses and memberships (AVMA/PLIT/VIN/VECCS), a generous CE allowance and time off, paid annual vacation (actively encouraged for work-life balance), and scheduling as flexible as we can make it. With excellent schools and easy access to fine arts, restaurants, nightlife, and travel (D/FW airport is a major hub), this is a great area to start/raise a family or live as a single person! We have also added a student loan matching program to help you get out from under your student loan burden faster!

Are you looking for a practice you can grow into, not just a job?  Would you like some control over your pay? Would you like to be a part of a team that works together to support the doctors' and hospital's needs?

Then we are the right place for you!

East Montgomery County Animal Hospital is looking for a full time or part time veterinarian to join our team.

Exceptional customer service and patient care with an emphasis on communication and education is our daily goal. So, we are looking for a veterinarian with a positive outlook and good work ethic that wants bonded clients and lifelong patients.

Our location

EMC Animal Hospital is located at the junction of Conroe and New Caney. It is a short, 20-30-minute drive to The Woodlands and Houston with easy access to I-69 and I-45.

This is a rapidly growing area with new neighborhoods being built all around the area.  We are just up the road from the new Grand Texas, an entertainment, dining, and shopping destination. They currently have Big Rivers Water Park and Adventures, SpeedSportz Racing Park, Grand Texas RV Resort, and Gator Bayou Adventure Park. They are adding outlets, a sportsplex, a theme park, and more. The Exxon Mobil campus is less than 30 minutes away.

About Us

EMC Animal Hospital is a privately-owned single doctor practice. We opened our doors in December of 2015 and have been growing ever since.  We see dogs, cats, and the occasional ferret or pocket pet.

We are advocates of continued, life-long learning and encourage CE's for our veterinarians and support staff.

Our practice has all the regular bells and whistles, including in-house lab work machines, digital dental and whole-body radiographs, full anesthetic monitoring and more! We provide preventive medicine, wellness out-patient care, internal medicine, hospitalization, basic and advanced dental services and soft tissue surgery.

Give us a call!

We would love to hear from you!  Please feel free to contact us and come over for a visit. Give us a call at 281-689-9999, ask for Marisa, or email us at manager.emcah@gmail.com.

Must Haves

Of course, we must require an ability to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas, including a Texas license in good standing, DEA registration, or the ability to acquire both.

The $$ Stuff

Salary is negotiable and based on experience. We believe a Pro-Sal salary would be most fair to both parties, but that is open for discussion. Other benefits include paid vacation, paid professional memberships, paid liability insurance, $2500 in CE allowance, uniform allowance, 401K with a match and health insurance.
