Job Description: SEX ! DRUGS! MONEY!

The Interstate Animal Clinic in North Little Rock Arkansas is looking for a full or part time associate to join our growing practice and the recruiting coach told me we should Title our job add with the three strongest words to get candidate's attention.

Sex: we are a diverse office with a very diverse clientele and we do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religion, political affiliation, hair coat or color, cropped ears, docked tails or proclivity to hair balls.

Drugs: we have a very well stocked pharmacy and are eager to add drugs you are familiar with or prefer to use. We have a drug and smoke free workplace, though we do often self medicate with chocolate and keep ice cream stocked in the staff freezer "to hand out to children... wink wink"  Additionally we have endoscopy/bronchoscopy, ultrasound, digital body and dental radiology, radio and CO2 laser surgery, high speed dental, SpO2/TCO2 monitoring, interpretive ECG, and if there is a device you simply can't practice quality medicine without, we are very willing to explore/acquire it. More importantly, we have a well trained staff (including CVT) who allow you to practice medicine without being a glorified technician.

Money: Our compensation package is both competitive and negotiable to provide all the perks you desire yet nothing you did not (much like liberty mutual car insurance) - but we also provide you with opportunities to generate that compensation while providing high quality, proactive care for patients.  We can negotiate signing bonuses/ relocation support if those are important to you. We can provide a detailed employment contract but can also function off of the honor of a handshake (... or fist/elbow bump during the pandemic).

Sure we have flexible scheduling - but more importantly, our doctors work together to collectively meet the needs of our patients while also providing life balance for ourselves.

Our clients are the best of the area, salt of the earth. Our practice is very eclectic with an effort to provide care opportunities to meet the resources each clients can support - so while we have referral options locally available, we also offer several in house alternatives when referral is not an option.

About our area

Little Rock Arkansas was Kiplinger Report's number one for "Great Places to Live" as well as a  top 10 Best Value City both for good reason. Arkansas is an ideal place to call home for anyone who loves to watch the season's change in a moderately big city with a small town atmosphere. If you or your significant other likes camping, hiking, canoeing, water sports, fishing or hunting we've got a great back yard in which to do it. WE are nationally known for trout/striped bass finishing as well as duck, dear and wild boar hunting.  Crystal Bridges Museum of North West Arkansas is nationally known. We have local cultural events that the average American can actually afford (concerts and off Broadway shows) and you don't have to fight mobs or the traffic to get to them. Aerosmith and Paul McCartney have played here and someone is certain they saw Elvis at the local Dairy Queen recently.  According to the James Beard Culinary Awards Foundation, we have some of the worlds best bar-b-que. Spring and fall bring numerous not to be missed events like bullfrog races of "Toad Suck Days" and watermelon seed spitting contest of the Hope Watermelon Festival. We have a state park where you can dig for real diamonds for that special someone and one with a hang gliding launch site along with bicycle and horseback riding trails. The annual Little Rock Marathon is rated as one of the most grueling preps for the Boston and we are recognized by many rock climbers as a hidden gem. Two hours drive finds you dining on Beal Street and touring Graceland. Three hours finds you sitting in a performance hall or shopping in Branson. Five hours drive gets you to the bustling Dallas Metroplex, live at the Grand Ole Opery, watching major league baseball in St. Louis or boating on the Lake of the Ozarks. And seven hours driving has you wondering through the French Quarter or wading in the gulf.  Little Rock flies very affordable non stop flights to Orlando, Destin, Las Vegas and LA.

While we can't end the pandemic, if you want 2021 to be a better career year - call us!

Come live in a great area and work in a great practice with everything to offer!
