FYE offers a number of other programs that promote student success during their first year and beyond. Bengal Book Group, Bengals Beyond the Bayou, Commuter Programs, Seaux Stressed, Fall Harvest and First Fridays are all part of our signature programs.
National First Gen Day is November 8th, however LSU is celebrating all our students who are the first in their family to attend college for the entire week from Monday, November 5 – Friday, November 9! Join FYE and our campus partners as we explore what it means to be a proud first gen student, participate in various programs, celebrate your journey, and engage with resources to help you be successful. Student Strategy Sessions
In addition to the 1:1 Strategy Sessions, FYE offers 45 minute Strategies to Success Workshops for small groups of students to connect with each other, reflect on their goals, develop strategies to achieve success, and create an individualized development plan.

On Wednesday, October 31 LSU Student Union - Center Lobby 12-3 pm - FYE celebrates all of the best things about fall with students' favorite fall activities. Students can enjoy an Halloween movie, pumpkin painting, haunted houses and more!
