What We Are:
The Progressive Student Alliance (PSA) is a student organization devoted to social justice and multi-issue progress. We define our mission as uniting and representing students by bringing progressive criticism and solutions to campus problems and connecting students lives to greater struggles locally and around the world through activism and organizing. Our goal is to build a powerful tool for students at LSU and around the state to use in addressing the problems facing campus life: public education access, tuition, fees, traffic solutions, health care, stipends, environment, worker rights, privatization, and democracy. Our goal is campus democracy a place where students take part in decision-making power at the university and in state-wide education debates.
