WANTED:

GIRLS who are problem solvers, explorers and hidden gem seekers—for a fun and “edutaining” evening at the LSU Museum of Natural Science.

The LSU Museum of Natural Science and College of Science are hosting its first ever Girls Night at the Museum, Friday, March 9, 2018. We are looking for girls in grades 4 through 6 to spend an evening exploring the museum collections, enjoying fun hands-on science activities, snacking and chatting with women scientists, and learning more about the women leading some of the university’s most exciting science adventures. 

Who’s eligible to participate? Girls in 4th through 6th grade with an interest in science.

Application Deadline: Friday, February 16, 2018

How do I apply?  Download and complete the 2018 Girls Night at the Museum application form below in the hopes of being one of 32 girls selected to spend an evening at LSU's Museum of Natural Science. The application requires a one-page essay about why you are interested in science and how you think science can change the world. The application also includes a participant authorization form and a photography and social media release form that must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
