Clarence & Ann Cazalot GeauxTeach Scholarships

The Clarence & Ann Cazalot GeauxTeach Scholarships are designated for students in the LSU College of Science. These scholarships are one-time $1,000 awards for a GeauxTeach full-time junior and a senior with at least a 3.0 GPA and are awarded in the spring.  The scholarships were created with a generous gift from the Cazalots who are deeply committed to providing outstanding educational opportunities to LSU students. Submit your application to Sharon Besson by March 31, 2017.

GeauxTeach Scholarships

The GeauxTeach scholarships are designated for students in the LSU College of Science and were established with generous support from alumni and friends of the college and from the National Math and Science Initiative. These scholarships are one-time $500 awards to a GeauxTeach fulltime junior and a senior with a major in the College of Science and at least a 3.0 GPA. These scholarships are awarded this spring. Submit your application to Sharon Besson by March 31, 2017.

McNair Research Scholars

MCNAIR RESEARCH SCHOLARS, administered through LSU University College, provides undergraduate research internships and graduate school application assistance for students who would be the first in their family to complete college, students who are from a background of financial need, and students from ethnic groups underrepresented in graduate education. An IDEAL CANDIDATE for the McNair Research Scholars program is an eligible sophomore student with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and is interested in research and pursuing a graduate education or is currently working in a research lab and could benefit from more funding and graduate school preparation services. TEACH Grants 

The TEACH Grant program was created to assist in the development and recruitment of teachers for high need programs in public or private elementary or secondary schools that serve low income families. Receive up to $4000 annually for full-time enrollment. For more information go
