Majors in the departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Geology and Geophysics, Physics and Astronomy or Mathematics.

SOARS Scholars Receive

Eligibility

• Demonstrated financial need
  • Pell or Pelican Promise eligible
• Enrolled full time
• Majoring in a degree program within the College of Science
  • Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics
• GPA of at least 3.0
