Hands-on Learning
With the help of LSU faculty, student, and staff volunteers, participants will build their own seismograph to test out.
Students in grades 7 and 8 are invited to apply for Geaux Science Explorations: Our Earth, Our Laboratory — a day of fun earth and energy science activities led by some of LSU's top scientists.
Learn how to measure and record earthquakes, lunch and chat with LSU scientists, and enjoy fun, hands-on activities hosted by a variety of science programs and clubs from LSU.
We are planning next year's Our Earth, Our Laboratory event. Follow us on social media for other outreach activities.
