New Curriculum for BS in Chemistry

New Curriculum for Bachelor of Science in Chemisty

Starting the Fall 2022 semester, chemistry majors will be able to select from one of nine areas of concentration, preferably in their sophomore year. The different concentrations are designed to prepare students whether for an active career in chemistry or for other professions, including the health fields, such as medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry.  Students interested in education will also earn secondary teaching certificate through the LSU Geaux Teach program

Please contact chemistry@lsu.edu if you have any questions or if you wish to meet with an academic advisor.
