Parking Restrictions on Saturday, Move-in Day

August 15, 2019

Welcome to campus!

You may have unpacked already, but we still have new Tigers to welcome on Move-in Day this Saturday, August 17, 2019.

To make move-in go as smoothly as possible for your new neighbors, move your car from unloading zones and staging area lots by 5 a.m. Saturday morning.

Relocate your car away from unloading zones surrounding the residence halls and staging areas (Parker Coliseum Ag Lot, East Parker Lot, Aster Street Lot, Pleasant Hall Lot, and the Limestone lot behind RCC) to open parking in the interior of campus or family and friends lots.

Beginning at 5 a.m. Saturday, cars in unloading zones, staging areas, or blocking the flow of traffic for Move-in will be towed at the owner's expense.

Once Move-in Day is complete the afternoon of Saturday, August 17, 2019, you are welcome to relocate your car closer to your building. View available parking areas at lsu.edu/moveinday. Make sure your vehicle is in a Resident Lot (Green, Zone 3) when campus reopens Monday at 7 a.m.

Thank you in advance for your help!

August 16, 2019 to Residence Hall Early Arrivals

Welcome to campus!

You may have unpacked already, but we still have new Tigers to welcome on Res Hall Move-in Day tomorrow, Saturday, August 17, 2019.

To make move-in go as smoothly as possible for your new neighbors, please do these easy two things tonight:

1-Move your car from unloading zones and staging area lots by 5 a.m.

Once Res Hall Move-in Day is complete in the late afternoon of Saturday, August 17, 2019, you are welcome to relocate your car closer to your building. View available parking areas at lsu.edu/moveinday. Make sure your vehicle is in a Resident Lot (Green, Zone 3) when campus reopens Monday at 7 a.m.

2-Bring all trash and cardboard boxes outside to the trash dumpster and recycling dumpster.

Do not leave trash or boxes in the hallways or corridors of your community. Leaving items in walkways makes navigating the halls extremely difficult and unsafe. Please be courteous to your new neighbors moving in tomorrow by removing ALL trash from the building. Break down cardboard boxes before carrying them outside.

Thank you in advance for your help!

August 16, 2019 to Apartment Early Arrivals

Welcome to campus!

You may have unpacked already, but we still have new Tigers to welcome on Res Hall Move-in Day tomorrow, Saturday, August 17, 2019.

To make move-in go as smoothly as possible for your new neighbors, please relocate your car to the back of parking lots surrounding the res halls and apartments so families unloading cars have closer access over the weekend. Avoid parking in unloading zones (labeled with barricades and signage at halls) and staging lots.

Beginning at 5 a.m. Saturday, cars in unloading zones, staging areas, or blocking the flow of traffic for Move-in will be towed at the owner's expense.

You can relocate for the weekend open parking in the interior of campus or family and friends lots. Make sure your vehicle is in a Resident Lot (Green, Zone 3) when campus reopens Monday at 7 a.m.

After unpacking, do not leave trash or boxes in the hallways or corridors of your community. Leaving items in walkways makes navigating the halls extremely difficult and unsafe. Please be courteous to your new neighbors moving in by removing ALL trash from the apartment community. Break down cardboard boxes before carrying them outside.

Thank you in advance for your help!
