Hello Kirby Smith, Cypress, Spruce and WCA residents,
As the school year begins, we want to remind you of the parking rules and regulations on campus.
According to paragraph 47 of LSU Parking Rules and Regulations, “parking in such a way as to create a hazard or restrict normal vehicular traffic or parking, e.g., parking in the travel portion of a street or the travel lane of a parking lot or an entrance to a parking lot” is strictly prohibited on campus. If there is not parking available in the paved lots on the west side of campus, residents may use the gravel lots located on the north and east side of the Tiger Band Hall.
Need a ride from Campus Transit?
Residents arriving to campus after the University’s normal operating hours and needing a ride can contact Campus Transit at 225-578-5555 between 5:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. The Campus Transit service provides door-to-door service seven days a week, and will pick you up from your vehicle and bring you to your building. If you are requesting a ride after midnight, you can contact LSUPD at 225-578-3231 and have a police officer escort you to your residence.
If you have any questions regarding the services provided or the University’s parking regulations, you can contact LSU Parking by phone at 225-578-5000 or by email at email@example.com.
