Fifth-Year Interim Report (2020)
Louisiana State University and A&M College is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral degrees. LSU's accreditation was last reaffirmed in December 2014, with its next decennial review scheduled to occur in 2024.
To ensure institutions are continuing to meet accreditation standards, SACSCOC requires a Fifth-Year Interim Report--an abbreviated version of the reaffirmation process that addresses 22 principles of accreditation related to student-support services, student achievement, physical resources, distance education, admissions policies, and curriculum development and oversight, among others. Additionally, the university is required to submit an impact report for its Quality Enhancement Plan: LSU Discover.
The SACSCOC Steering Committee has been established to prepare for the university's March 2020 submission of its SACSCOC Fifth-Year Interim Report.
