MEDIA ADVISORY: Louisiana Sinfonietta Presents a Free Concert at LSU Middleton Library June 24

BATON ROUGE – Louisiana Sinfonietta presents a free summer concert series titled “Music of Past and Present.” The concerts will be performed at various Baton Rouge libraries this month. The first concert will be presented at LSU Middleton Library on Monday, June 24 at 11:30 a.m.

Conducted by Dinos Constantinides, the Louisiana Sinfonietta String Quartet is Hanna Urdea, violin I; Marta Turianska, violin II; Natasha Sieczkowska, viola; and Wagner Duarte, cello. They will perform a selection of musical compositions by various artists from Beethoven’s Variations on a Theme of Mozart to Constantinides’ The Magic Pot read by Judy Constantinides.

Louisiana Sinfonietta will perform on the following dates and times:

  • Monday, June 24 at 11:30 a.m. at the LSU Middleton Library
  • Monday, June  24 at 2:30 p.m. at the Greenwell Springs Library
  • Tuesday, June 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the Scotlandville Library
  • Wednesday, June 26 at 2:30 p.m. at the Bluebonnet  Library
  • Thursday, June 27 at 2:30 p.m. at the Jones Creek Library
  • Friday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m.  at the Main Library
