LSU Continuing Education Announces Spring Professional Development Courses

BATON ROUGE – LSU Continuing Education has announced the release of the spring 2015 Professional Development course catalog. The catalog is now available online at and features more than 100 courses and certificate programs.

New courses this fall include Enhancing Supervisory Performance; Essentials of Business Analysis, a two-day, interactive seminar designed to deliver practical business analysis skills; and Workplace Investigation Essentials, a course designed to help guide managers through the often difficult and complicated process of investigating workplace incidents.

The spring 2015 catalog includes new certificate and training programs in Grant Management, Project Risk Management, Strategic Communications, and Certified Occupational Safety Manager.

LSU Continuing Education is also offering new sessions of its popular certificate programs, including management and leadership, project management, purchasing and supply management, web design/web development and the paralegal studies program.

“Our training programs impact companies and organizations throughout the state of Louisiana,” said Kristy Anthony, director of LSU Professional Development. “We build programs to assist employers in meeting their workforce development needs.”
