Register For Fall Leisure Classes Today

Baton Rouge, LA – With the changing of the seasons brings football, freshman and fall leisure classes! Fall nurtures the notions of back-to-school and new beginnings. Begin to discover a whole new world of interests or continue to advance your skill set through Leisure Classes. Leisure Classes, offered by LSU, starts registering for the Fall Semester Friday, July 25th! Leisure Classes are non-credited classes that have varying fees. Students of all ages are encouraged to register. Classes are open to the general public as well as to LSU students, faculty and staff.

With almost 100 classes, including 25 new classes added this fall, participants have a wide variety of classes to choose from. Enjoy classes such as Pretty Cookies, Capturing Great Family Memories, Concealed Weapons, Chi Gong / Shiatsu, Wheel Throwing, Night Club 2 step Cumbia and so many more.

Have you ever wanted to get together with a few of your friends or find a unique activity for a Birthday Party or Girl’s Night Out? Leisure classes has you covered with our NEW program “At Your Leisure” being introduced this fall! Get ready to be inspired by our local teachers and artists who will guide you step-by-step through an activity of your choice. Activities include Beaded Mosaics, Clay Pots, Sand Candles and more. At the end of the night the group will leave with their own masterpieces!

For most of us, learning and leisure make life worth living. Leisure Classes strives to engage, entertain and enrich the lives of all participants, as they take the journey into learning new and exciting skills!

Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about the little ones! Leisure classes also offers a variety of classes for children from ages 6-16. If you would like your child to learn a new language, how to paint or even get muddy and learn to make pottery, then be sure to check out our classes offered specifically to kids and teenagers!
