LSU Continuing Education Releases Fall 2014 Professional Development Course Catalogue

BATON ROUGE – LSU Continuing Education announces the release of the fall 2014 Professional Development course catalog. The catalog is now available online at and features more than 100 courses and certificate programs.

New courses this fall include “Essentials of Business Analysis,” a two-day, interactive seminar designed to deliver practical business analysis skills; and “Workplace Investigation Essentials,” a course designed to help guide managers through the often difficult and complicated process of investigating workplace incidents.

The fall 2014 catalog also includes new certificate and training programs in grant management, project risk management, strategic communications, certified occupational safety manager and social media.

LSU Continuing Education is also offering new sessions of its popular certificate programs, including management and leadership, project management, purchasing and supply management, web design/web development and the paralegal studies program.

“Our instructors deliver high-value, highly practical information that can be applied immediately,” said Kristy Anthony, director of LSU Professional Development. “Whenever possible, we tap resources like the Louisiana Incumbent Worker Training Program and Small Business Employee Training grants to assist employers with their workforce development needs.”
