BATON ROUGE – The LSU Public Administration Institute has announced it has named Earl Randall, senior CPD specialist for the disaster recovery and special issues division of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, as its 2014 MPA Alumnus of the Year. Randall will be honored at the LSU PAI and Public Administration Institute Student Association joint event PAISA Day, Wednesday, April 23.
According to LSU PAI Director James Richardson, PAISA Day will be held in The Rotunda of the Business Education Complex from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature guest speakers Charles E. Randall is the lead representative for the State of Louisiana and the State of New York’s long-term disaster recovery efforts that are funded through Congressional disaster appropriations. Randall’s wife, Dana, is an LSU MPA alumna.
“The program for this year’s PAISA Day will be very informative for our attendees, and I am very much looking forward to it,” Richardson said. “Earl Randall is absolutely deserving as this year’s Alumnus of the Year, and it is our pleasure to honor him as such.”
Additionally, Richardson added that Pi Alpha Alpha inductees and May 2014 graduates will be recognized at PAISA Day.
