BATON ROUGE – After more than 3½ years in business, Baton Rouge advertising agency
Red Six Media is graduating from the Louisiana Business and Technology Center, or
LBTC, and moving into an office at 315 3rd Street in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge.
The principals of Red Six Media – Matt Dardenne, Joe Martin and Kristen Morrison –
are eager to continue growing their company and delivering exciting and effective
work to their clients in a new setting.
“It’s a very exciting time for us. When we started in 2009, we didn’t know the first
thing about running a business, but with a lot of late nights, hard work and the help
and guidance of the advisors and staff of the LBTC, we were able to start a company
in one of the worst economic years on record,” said Martin.
“When we met Red Six Media, they were one week away from LSU graduation and had the
idea to start this business. They have grown into a reputable agency generating more
than a half million dollars in revenue in 2012. We are thrilled to have played a part
in their success,” said Jennifer Fowler, director of the LSU Student Incubator at
Red Six Media’s services include advertising, branding, video production, political
media, and web design. Their corporate clients include The Dow Chemical Company, RigNet
Oilfield Communications, Ford, Bacon & Davis, and Party Time of Baton Rouge. All graduates
of LSU, Red Six Media also works with LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication and
LSU’s Center for Energy Studies. Their political clients have included candidates
for Lieutenant Governor, Supreme Court Justice, Louisiana State Senate and, most recently,
John Delgado’s successful bid for Metro Council in Baton Rouge.
The Louisiana Business and Technology Center located at the LSU Innovation Park endeavors to enhance economic development in Louisiana through the support of existing small businesses and the development of new businesses.
