Press Conference to be Held Today Regarding Bomb Threat Arrest

A press conference will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 3 p.m. regarding the arrest of the bomb threat suspect. The press conference will take place in the Cook Room of the Lod Cook Alumni Center, located at 3838 West Lakeshore Drive in Baton Rouge.


LSU Interim System President and Interim Chancellor William Jenkins, along with representatives from some of the agencies involved in the investigation will be present; these include LSU Police, Louisiana State Police, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office, Baton Rouge City Police, FBI, ATF and the Department of Homeland Security.


Media are asked to arrive early due to dismissal traffic near the LSU Lab School at that same time. Parking is available at the Alumni Center and at the lots near the Cook Hotel.
