LSU Student Union Theater Presents Vox Lumiere’s “The Phantom of the Opera”

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Student Union Theater will present Vox Lumiere’s “The Phantom of the Opera,” the next show in the “Union Theater Presents” series, on Saturday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. This spellbinding live performance returns viewers to the world’s most famous opera house, daring to unmask the secrets of the phantom.


Thrilling new music and a breathtaking live performance meld with the beauty of the original silent film to transport audiences of all ages with an intensity and power that embodies “The Phantom of the Opera.” Ambition, murder and the seductive allure of a dangerous secret come to life in this stirring new production.


Vox Lumiere is the next evolution in entertainment, where rock concert meets theater and classic silent film, presenting stories known and loved by millions with cool, new music and dramatic staging. “The Phantom of the Opera” boasts the excitement of a rock concert married with great storytelling and fantastic new technology to construct “a multi-dimensional blast of visual and auditory splendor.”
