BATON ROUGE – Music fans, green thumbs, art aficionados, architecture lovers, history

book sale. This year’s Season’s Readings at the Lod Cook Alumni Center, on Friday,
Dec. 2, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., boasts a wide array of great titles, a dozen local
authors, a 30 percent discount, free gift wrapping, and the opportunity to support
a local, nonprofit business.
Special guests will be in attendance to sign copies of LSU Press books:
In addition, The Southern Review will be offering discounted subscriptions and selling
copies of its journal, as well as the acclaimed collection “Best of LSU Fiction.”
LSU Press Season’s Readings not only offers a convenient way to buy gifts – far away
from the mall traffic and with a variety of titles in one place – it provides a culturally
rewarding holiday shopping experience.
